For years, the café was known as Café ’t Hoekske, the local pub of Dokter Tinus in the TV series. Since February 2023, Corrie van der Ven from Brakel took over, and it continues under the name Corrie’s Hoekske. Corrie refreshed the interior, added a small lunch menu, and received overwhelming support from locals at the reopening. The whole village was happy to see the café open again.
